The only source for that on wikipedia is Palmer's book which is pretty sensationalist and shitty. Like, where the fuck would he even source something like that? Ungern wouldn't have said stuff like that to any of his Russian soldiers for certain. The two books written by his Polish advisors, Ossendowski and Giżycki, that are primary written sources on how the dude actually behaved and spoke during Mongolia expedition, don't mention that. His distant cousin Wrangel, who was a Russian nationalist of Swedish stock and was incredibly critical of Ungern, listing all his bad traits and oddities doesn't mention that.

The mention of "Volkdeutsche" rather than just Baltic Germans as they were called in those days is odd too.
