I switched to horde as an adult, simply because I like blood elves. Mainly because I hate the night elf update. Night elves were better during TBC, but they gave them ugly man faces with the update. Can't stand to play as one anymore.

Humans are alright, but I still prefer blood elf. And with Nightborne coming to horde, there's no contest.

I did play on ED. The open world scene is barely there and composed almost entirely of sitting around in bars and making awkward conversation. There's so much paramilitary it's amazing they don't devour each other. The PvP scene is nice but sooner or later that's going to become irrelevant with the BfA changes, so... eh.

I have to admit, though, that does sound pretty good. But I'm sure I could find the same stuff for Alliance on MG.

With every bubble comes drama, and these guilds usually succumb to the drama and dissolve within 2 to 4 months of being made. I can't name a 'House' guild that's lasted any longer than that.
I'm not planning to join the belf guilds, so that shouldn't be an issue. Are the other types of guilds cool, though?

literally easy, only remotely difficult one at 930 now is guardian druid and thats largely legendary dependent, they still have enough CDs to survive. the only way you can die as prot pally is forgetting you have divine shield/bop desu

MoonGuard Alliance is so much better than any other server. Plus alliance doesn't have to deal brazilians and mexicans like horde does.

I think so. There's a very wide spectrum of guild themes and the people who are in them. There's plenty of Orcish warbands, Goblin trade leagues, smuggler groups, and generic tribal guilds. All of them have their own unique experiences, and I've been with many of them at one point or another.
