So I had a shit ton of Zoro Ashura and Sogeking books from farming GPU / Alvida

If you max those losers and then super-evolve them, are they still maxed, or do you need more books? Just asking because Ashura Zoro's CD is like 20 turns maxed, but Bird Song is way lower. Is it safe to feed all the extra books to another dude for EXP?

My only un-candied legends are Croc and Lucci and I have 200 ATK candies saved up. Should I candy them or hold them for units who aren't shit? It feels dirty having uncandied legends but it also feels hard to justify investing candy in units I never use.

Can't you just save the extra ones and feed them? It is hard to imagine you would miss out on much content waiting a couple of weeks (at most) for a skill up event.

I've been told Shiki is returning in December
When that comes, I am going to feed my 1 (One) Shiki copies as soon as I farm them in order for him to get sockets.

If I save them for the skill up, I may not get the sockets I need.

You always get a socket when you feed a unit, but if I get poison resistance socket I may as well fuck my own ass with a baseball bat for all the good it'll do me.

Now let's say I get 100 Shikis when he comes back because I decide to be autistic
In theory, all 100 could be poison resistance sockets.
It's easier to just get them while Shiki is available.

Maxed TS Zoro with 15 books, missed 2 sockets on Shiki while maxing his skill with 58 copies. Bit unfortunate about the sockets but as long as hes maxed and I didn't get fucked on Zoro skillups I'm calling it a success.

I didn't get any bind sockets on my shiki until 25 copies, so now I'm at 3 bind sockets after 58 copies. I feel your pain my dude.

I'm happy about finally having skillup update, but you're almost always going to need to feed more copies for sockets
at least specific sockets skillbooks are becoming less rare, so that helps a bit

Now that I'm done I can say this was pretty much what I would have expected before the "increase".
That and the shit from the three rarest units leave me really pissed.
