It's horribly balanced. nothing is particularly standout broken, but it's a combination of so many things that makes the game unbalanced and unfun to play.

You need map knowledge at least so you don't put them in places where no one will go. Corners or black surfaces so that it's hidden, don't go on it and tag frequently because attackers will see it since it emits a blue light when it's active.
