Does anyone have some book recommendations on fascist Italy, Spain and Portugal? The Iron Guard and Codreanu? Fascist ideology in general (preferably written by fascists themselves) (besides Musso's "The Doctrine of Fascism and Rocco's "The Political Doctrine of Fascim")?

Also, general fascism thread. Keep it civil, though. German NatSoc fans not allowed.

"Fascism Viewed From the Right" by Julius Evola is a great rundown on the Italian Fascist movement from the perspective of an Italian traditionalist who lived through it and actively worked with both Fascist and National Socialist.

Is it? Evola was, if I recall correctly, pretty antagonistic to fascism because
>plebs.
I'll keep it in mind, though, so thanks.

Here's the free pdf

Thanks, my dude.

Do you guys think true fascism will resurge in Europe or are we stuck with this alt right horseshit

"Fascism: The Career of a Concept" by Paul Gottfried is pretty good at explaining fascism

I think it's pretty much dead. All that is left is right-wing retardation. Which is incredibly tragic, really.

Will check out.

I think true Fascism is frozen in time. Gone the way of paganism. This being said something may come along that strongly resembles true Fascism.

Why can't America have an aesthetic fascist party?

Why can't fascism in America work?

Why does our government refuse to acknowledge anything nationalistic?

The thing that really gets me is the retarded White Power movements and hooligans that appropriate the name of an ideology they know nothing about. And the standard
>everything I don't like is fascist

This so much.

I honestly think that neo nazi skinhead groups are funded by the left to make fascists look retarded

Probably due to the combination of the meme that
>the State is literally Satan and wants to abolish all liberty, its interests are always contrary to the interests of its citizens, so the government has to be kept as small and impotent as possible.
And the fact that you're not a nation in the generally accepted sense (however, the fascist conception of the nation says that nations were created by States, so you can be as much of a nation as France just by virtue of considering yourself an indivisible whole. This is fundamentally different from the classic nationalist conception of the nation, where the nation is "naturally" formed and linked with ethnicity.)

Even civic nationalism is discouraged though.

The left here makes everything a class or race or gender issue so it's impossible to have a unified population.

Only getting worse too, thousands of vagrants in the streets protesting the fair and legal election of someone that doesn't agree with them. Sad state.

Yeah, I heard all your left does is name-calling and identity politics. Our left is incredibly lazy, but at least not annoying.

How big of a problem is racism in the US? I don't live there, and it seems a bit exaggerated, but there are like a couple dozens of not-whites at most in my country, so I know nothing about racial tensions.

Yeah the left is pretty shit but I think exaggerated by MRAs and altright

Racism is pretty nonexistent except in the Deep South. Self righteous liberals who live in all white areas like to get on the moral high horse and suggest that all southerners are racist confederate inbreds.

What country are you from btw?

Croatia.

Has the right taken power there yet? I don't know much about Croatia except you guys got cucked by migrants when Hungary closed its borders

Eh, they pretty much avoid us. Which is one of the rare advantages of not being rich or advanced. IIRC they used to enter our eastern border with Bosnia (which is impossible to close) and would just pass through our and Slovenian territory in hopes of getting to Austria. But then Slovenia closed their border with us and built fences, so that put a stop to that. There was a big scare about immigration for a very short time, but that stopped due simply to lack of immigrants and immigrant-related problems. We do have some immigration camps operating, though. Our politics is pretty fucked up because a lot of people are fed up with both the left (SDP) and the right (HDZ) due to rampant corruption (those two are the only truly relevant parties). In the last election, the left and right were pretty much tied, with neither having the majority needed to form a government. What happened was something that never happened before - there was a third party that got influential enough to get 10% of the votes in the parliamentary election (the so-called MOST ("bridge" in Croatian), a party led by breakaways from both the HDZ and the SDP, started the election promising not to join a coalition with either party, got a lot of votes due to dissatisfaction) and was supposed to decide who to join a coalition with. They were pushed to choose because otherwise a repeat of the parliamentary elections would have to be held. MOST was united pretty much only by opposing the two main parties, and one of the co-leaders, a former HDZ party member, was kicked out for making deals with the right behind the back of the rest of the party. Anyway, MOST entered a coalition with the right and we got a literally who prime minister (Tihomir Orešković, guy barely spoke Croatian, he lived in Canada). That lasted for about six months until the parliament enacted a vote of no-confidence and toppled the government. MOST pretty much fucked up the chances of any future third party [cont]

and will never again be relevant. Our government is currently a demo-christian coalition formed a few months ago after the demise of the last one. Croatian politics is a joke.

Yeah it seems like the right is taking hold more in the west but are the new right parties even fascist or is it just an attempt at defamation by the left?

I've heard libs talk shit about FN and PiS and UKIP but do any of the European right wing parties actually hold fascist ideology?

Golden dawn looks to be the most classically fascist to me

Well, the Hungarian Jobbik and the Greek Golden Dawn are called fascists by their opposition a lot. I know very little about them, but I'm pretty sure they're just right-wing populists, instead of actual fascists. Other than them, pretty much every country in Europe's main right-wing party is demo-christian. As far as I know, there is no relevant party in Europe that calls itself fascist (reasonable, as fascist is used pretty much as a slur).
