I "main" AST, because I like the style and I like healing but its one of my worst geared, same with PLD. My best geared is BRD but only if i'm forced into savage crap. I love how DRG plays but rarely play it, I like the big easy numbers BLM makes but don't like how the class plays. I don't really like SAM at all but I got it to 70 and glammed it so that's whatever. RDM is what I play the most when I want to clear something but don't really feel like trying. DRK is okay, and WAR is what i'm currently working on and so far so good.
Nothing really just feels spectacular.

For DPS, I'm a SMN main; it's the only class I trust myself to do Savage on at the moment. I love the aesthetics, it flows really well, and it does tons of damage while still having good mobility and decent utility. The only thing I don't like is that it gets punished extremely hard for dying, get good I guess. RDM and NIN are my secondary jobs, but RDM feels a bit too dumbed-down sometimes and NIN is a bit too frantic for my tastes.
Healer, I trade off between AST and SCH. As a very general rule, I like AST more if I know the people I'm running with, and SCH for random duty finder roulettes. Cards are fun and really powerful if you use them well, but going into a Duty Finder as an AST and getting stuck with three idiots is painful. Plus, SCH has tons of burst healing for when things inevitably go wrong in Rabanastre or whatever.
DRK's the only tank I have at 70, but I've been bringing PLD up as well and like it a bit better. Honestly I'm not a huge fan of Dark Arts, it makes the job feel really busy even on trash pulls and such. PLD apparently has better underlying numbers, and the toolkit works better for me. Although it must be said that DRK had way, way better job quests than PLD has.
OK, does anyone on Aether need a DPS/Healer/Tank for anything before I head to bed.

BLM is the only job i've played extensively this expansion and I love it, RDM was really fun too however. Got WAR to 70 but have no intention of playing it either and I've been too lazy to level anything else
