It's actually really hard to explain to be honest. I know characters like them along with others like Helena and Shuten have the typical loli characteristics physically but when I look at them something in the pit of my stomach tells me "that's not a true loli". It's not even an age thing as lolibabas like Shinobu work for me but some others like those I mentioned above and Megumeme don't. There's something spiritual that separates a true loli from simply a young looking girl. I can't describe it any other way.
