You won't get banned, no one gets banned in this game. It just stops you from starting the game if it detects changes to the game files. You can still use cheat engine, too

They haven't banned anyone yet, as far as we know. The anti cheat will detect your mod and not let you start up. That said, if you disable a file of the anti-cheat, you can still load the game and use mods, just not online.

You're gonna be fine, the game won't remove items even if you obtained them through the mod. Just disable the mods and everything's dandy.
