Although, the importance of VAs changes from franchise to franchise. For example, VA importance in ML is a lot more significant than it is in CG or SideM

Maybe I'm misinterpreting you here but how can you say that VAs don't have a large stake in a franchise that is mainly about music and character interaction? im@s technically had live concerts before the first actual game was released. 765, DS, ML, all came fully voiced from the get go, I don't remember how it worked for SideM but I'm pretty sure a fully voiced cast was planned from the start, and the election that's based around who gets a VA is a major part of CG. The browser game thing will apparently be fully voiced from the start too.

SideM's 2nd Live was stupidly good. They sound incredible, and dance the full choreography instead of getting background dancers to do it. It's hard to believe it was more than half the cast's major debut. The high sales are probably because of that.
