One of the good things about tera is its business model, not p2w at all
Everything in the store is tradeable ingame

Stuff being tradeable doesnt exactly make something not p2w, tera has mounts with buffs which is just slightly p2w cause even though you can buy those with gold, it takes a lot of gold, and with the new enchanting system gold is more importsnt than before, but its nothing very bad anyways, teras just not so p2w cause 90% of what you can buy is cosmetics

Hmm I would argue it's easier to get the "p2w" mounts this patch.
Last patch even when I could save all my gold, sell feed and alkahest etc. I wasn't able to gather 400k for the life of me. And I played a lot for the whole patch.
This *week* (not month) I crafted some darics, some plates, some silver plates, grinded a bit during the triple drop and what do you know, I had 400k sitting in my bank. I'm pretty much done gearing, and after you're done you make tons of gold.
Besides there's no point in getting the crit power dragons unless you're done gearing, so they're a nice goal that you can set for yourself after getting stormcry to the desired enchantment level.

well no shit you'll have a lot of spare gold, before the enchanting changes you'd have spare gold much sooner in the patch too
dragons and phoenixes are still p2w just cause they provide an advantage in dungeons, and they're much easier to get by just dropping money, which is kinda the point of p2w things

To be fair you need some p2w. The game is f2p and I doubt they'd make much if they'd only sell costumes. Elite itself is p2w as fuck as there's no way you're going to get any far without it, hell it even offers extra dungeon entries. Even when elite vouchers are tradable you need to offer incentive for whales to buy them from the cash shop and resell.

Elite is less useful than it used to be imo, due to entropics feeling less useful than mwa. Otherwise i managed to get full stormcry without elite in a monthish of casual mostly iod grind. Elite doing highest dungeons more would quicken this, assuming you have a group that wants to do it everyday and aren't wasting runs/massive amounts of time on one run.

killian is the only worth server on eu, and most wanted class is tank as always. i would recomend lancer since its the most supportive for the party.

usually people had bis gear after first day. with the new system its not this extreme anymore and you get rewarded alot by playing. the game is not p2w, but some people tend to argue that paying for makin gearing faster is p2w aswell. so i guess it depends on your viewpoint. you can pay to progress is in every game nowdays tho, so this would make every game p2w for them. but yea whatever.

I just decided I'm done gearing because I wanted to make money, and it was easy af. If you pause the process to sell stuff a bit you'll make tons.

No that's intended. The game now basically makes you choose between enchanting your gear or having money for costumes. I have some problems with it but at the same time it's not the worst design. If you enchant your gear as high as possible you'll drain your gold, but once you finish gearing or if you pause it to make gold you can make enough for costumes in just a few days.
