They're all useful, and you're not going to get them any other way. Deflect magic helps out a lot of units, deflect melee is more for slower melee units to fend off brave weapons, desperation and getting doubled when initiating. Deflect Missile is probably best used on Michalis or any bulky flier in need of surviving an arrow barrage on a flier team.
