user, just stop thinking about optimizing. No matter what you do you'll have spent a lot of money for ship that other player will have and kill your Idris with, no matter if P or M. A Javelin will be a death trap unless you have an org or money to buy an escort.

If you have afterburner, you can tell when the game is done loading when your RAM usage is over 10GB. Swap file is 17GB when it loaded. You will have to have this, windows, and your swap all on SSD, or suffer.
