The joke was that Yang was a complete moron about all things aside from military tactics, but thought himself an enlightened scholar of history.

To be fair he got yanked out of his history courses in a draft. He never got a chance to learn anything except how to be a smarmy alcoholic.

Is Yang's and Julian's relationship supposed to be reminiscent of classical pederasty?

Dunno, you tell me

How did Yang end up with Frederica since with all the autismo he spilled everywhere and putting this fucking child over here all the time?

He got lucky and imprinted on her when she was young and impressionable, doing some clever military maneuver which makes him seem like her father.

>how did an admiral fug a junior officer
Gee, I wonder.

>he got yanked out of his history courses in a draft
No, he willingly joined the military because it was the only way he could afford college. During OTS they killed the history department and he ended up in strategic planning or some shit.

What is this called?

Legend of the Galactic Heroes

Cheers mate

DO NOT BULLY YANG

He was a very bright man. He understand the advantages and disadvantages of both democratic and autocratic civilizations.

Yang Dies in episode 82

This is the best one -

youtube.com/watch?v=bEjJBZwuxDI

Go fuck yourself.

Maybe it's just bad translation but the second part of that sounds like nonsense.

Greenhill did nothing wrong. The Tree of martial law must be watered with the blood of protesters.

Good fucking lord its all coming back.

I can't deal with it.

Pls no

It's pretty true OP. Carl Jung pointed this out with Hitler too; that he was the worst impulses(The Shadow) of the German people simply subsumed into a single entity which almost everyone identified with and backed completely and utterly.

It's pretty dangerous and can happen at any point in time.

>mfw he died a senseless death
>mfw he could have saved the FPA

...

>it was the only way he could afford college
no he could have left if he wanted to, but they decided to play power on him by telling him to either work for them or pay all of the tuition by mandatory.

Hello guys, what's going on in this thread?

kys

So yang was really impresionable, thats emperor talking

great tactician right there desu

LoGH is at least 90% homolust so clearly yes.

I thought Reindhardt was gonna be persuaded by him and Oberstien and go full Nationalist Socialist by the end of the show.

That still doesn't change the fact that it was the only way he could have afforded it.

gan bay

Reminder that he was the only interesting character on the FPA side and that was because of his Empire origins.

This show really dropped the ball on the FPA. Or maybe it's just democracy making everyone boring.

...

Mittermeyer is best guy.

Also Oberstein
>always chooses the path best for society
>always
>even if it means that everyone hates him
>even if he goes against Reinhardt's will (when he advocated threatening the Iserlohn Republic by the execution of captured FPA dissidents)
>even if it causes his death (as it did, in the end)
He was a fucking hero.

Oberstain got his revenge on eradicating the old empire so he pretty much wanted to just die and be useful to the new regime. He had already set himself up as a fall guy so him living for long wouldnt have been good for the new regime.

That's one of the things I like about him.

Reminder that Rudolf did nothing wrong.

>fell for the social darwinism meme
>forcefully euthanized/aborted people with defects that could easily have been amended by simply using existing technology (see: Oberstein)
>but also established hereditary nobility because that isn't at all against social darwinism
He was shit desu,

hmm

Lel.
Teach my Turner syndrome cousin how to manage a fleet then fagtron.

These LOGH threads are so nice. I wish we had them more often here.

easy to say that when you are a genetically perfect aryan

Pretty sure he's not iranian, tbqh.

He came from a commoner family. Only reason he even got into a position of power is because his sister was fucking the emperor.

>He came from a commoner family.
>Reinhard von Müsel
His family was minor nobility, but still nobility. They were barely middle class economically, but they still enjoyed all legal privileges and respect accorded to nobility.

>minor nobility
>rights

These two guys beg to differ. Reinhard and Annerose got shit by 95%+ of the nobles because they were some poor nobles.

...

Absloute madmen for doing this

These Veeky Forumstory docu episodes were the best.

>episode mainly features historical discussion
>mum complains it's boring

>watching anime with your mom
