Well duh, I installed Ferrox, it's obvious I know that. That's why I'm so puzzled.

I'm on 11.4 on my hacked 3ds what do I need to do so I can play games online?

Maybe someone can help me. I have followed every step for the PS3Xploit. I have gotten to the step where I need to click the WRITE TO NOR FLASH MEMORY button. I have tried this both using redthetrainer.com and an http server. Neither work. When I click the button nothing happens, no message or anything. I have cleared my ps3's cache and whatnot and I still can't get it to start. Is there some basic step I'm missing? Or do I just wait for 10 minutes and pray something happens?

I tried the NTRCFW way but the "game plugins" thing that's meant to show up, won't, so I want to just inject the edited files directly into a .cia.

Well since I installed Ferrox I installed the one in the guide, I have PSLight "Toggle QA Flag" but the combo doesn't seem to work.

I have just the flsh.hex file on my usb stick and it is in the right usb port. That is all correct, right?

The combo didn't work so I ran the QA pkg like four times and tried installing Rebug anyways with the console without internet and still nothing.
I'm giving up.

Pretty sure if you run it again you're essentially uninstalling it.

I followed se7ensins.com/forums/threads/how-to-install-ps3xploit.1687612/ flawlessly until the last step.
My System Information says "Version 4.82" but I guess I'm on CFW because I did install the QA pkg but the combos just doesn't work.
Don't tell me I have to run the redtrainer thing again...

reboot ps3, rub habbib toggle qa, ps3 will beep, try qa toggle combo at network settings

Just tried running one PS2 game on my slim PS3 via webman. Boots perfectly, looks great, but then eventually all in-game controller inputs stop getting read besides Start. I guess this is an example of a PS2 compatibility/emulation issue?

Would I get much of a differing result if I tried that PS2 Classics method? Not too fussed though, still got a working PS2.

Doesn't Overflow brick consoles?
Can I just install Overflow over Ferrox or do I have to go back to OFW 4.82 first?

So just to be absolute clear, I can just ignore those letters under the phat column and use NOR since my PS3 is 20xx, even if there's an A at the end of that?

If you get the menu from qa toggle you don't need to bother with this, its only if you aren't getting the menu

I'm not getting it.
As I've posted a lot of times, I can install that thing but the combo doesn't work.
Have tried pressing each button individually, at the same time and after each time I ran the QA thing just to make sure.

Anyways, I was able to install Overflow just like that, will try luck again getting the menu and installing 3.55 now

You dont need to go to 3.55, what are you doing.
All you need is to install Ferrox or overflow, get the QA working, and then go to rebug of 4.81, thats it, your golden. No other steps needed.

funny enough Tales of the Abyss has the same problem on PS3. the game works fine until you reach choral castle where all the controls lock up. the only way to bypass this is to load a save that's pass that point in the game.

Otherwise in the game menu on the ps3 just look for package installer

Get Overflow. There are currently 3 different qa pks, try them all.

QA Toggle
And the one that comes with Overflow, which can be installed from the hard drive.

To be fair PS3 cfw documentation is kind of garbage.
Bits and pieces of information are scattered around all over the place so it can be kind of a challenge to get the full picture
