Vamp aura does nothing at Vindicta.
Scrim + Supreme Brawler + Soul Split is all you need. If you know how to time it right, you'll be using Protect Ranged on the Ranged attack and then going back to Soul Split.
Souls Amulet over Reaper, because you shouldn't have problems with accuracy while using Scythe.

For anyone who has completed the slayer codex; which souls did you find were the biggest pain in the arse to obtain? Personally, I've got over 5k corrupted creature kills and I've only got the scorpion and scarab souls so far ( all kills on task).

I didn't complete it yet, but I'm 2k kills dry on dragonstone dragons
I did get hydrix and onyx both under 200 kills each, so yeah

One task of them was enough for me to chuck them on the blocked list. Intentionally been saving them for last. So happy to hear they seem to take forever to relinquish their souls.

haven't completed it yet but so far I can say bulbous crawlers took me the longest at about 900 kills (just got it yesterday)
honorable mention to corrupted creatures, which took me longer to get them the soul devourers for some reason and acheron mammoths which I'm still dry on after 384 kills even though I got all the other raptor mobs in under 200 kills

they're a good task xp wise
I wouldn't block them even after I got the souls

Honestly, I couldn't give you a sensible reason. I did a task of dragonstone dragons and thought they chucked out their specs way too often which ended up pissing me off with all the running around ( plus I found the spec clouds really hard to see most times), also their drops were utter garbage.
