Yes and no. Action combat instead of tab-target means there's a lot more realtime player skill. Downside is the exponential+ power curve meaning there's very little chance to use those skills to tackle stuff beyond your level.

did you ever think about not going nuclear in the first 2 seconds ? so the tank can move him ?
the 2nd boss in tr is right next to where the laser comes out from so i try to move him but theres always that 1 guy that brooches before im even close to him

You just wont admit you end up with a dps loss. The only time you wont is when SE is up and the boss turns back around. The best you have is a perfect situation where you have all your cooldowns and if you have everything on cooldown, then you wont have dps loss because you were doing shit dps to start with.

Most bosses turn back around and faster than it takes to run all the way around them with just a few exceptions. But the tanks dont bother to learn those exceptions and just hop and and forth constantly. Making the whole run twice as long.
