I think warlocks in general are a failure of a class thanks to Blizzard's incompetence. I've tried to pick it up and like it throughout the expansion but christ everything about it feels awful, slow, and sluggish.
After playing a mage for the first time recently I don't know if I can go back. It feels better in every way.

Just find an adventuring guild or some shit, as long as it isn't full of control freaks who get offended easily you'll be fine. I'd rather just be in a regular adventuring or merchant RP guild than a dumb gimmick like military or noble RP guilds.

I was on Moonguard for a bit, before moving, I never saw this shit. What dumbass warlocks/DKs/DHs randomly attack paladins? That should be a death sentence for those fuckers...jesus glad I left that place.

Also don't join Blood Elf guilds. There's plenty of good Belfs out there but the Belf exclusive guilds are fucking shit.

buy exp potions from your garrison or if you have the gold, the good exp potions from the AH, then before using them do the world quests in the zone you're up to but leave one objective unfinished (one kill, one item, whatever just leave it). Then once you have every world quest in the zone almost finished, pop the potion and go complete them all for big exp. you can clear 90 to 100 in like 2-4 hours this way

I like the ideas behind Demo; Throwing an army of demons around is a cool idea, It's just demonic empowerment is so fucking boring. Destruction is just a fire mage with none of the mobility, and gay soul stones. The legion beta affliction had some fun ideas, but I can see why they changed it.

Sure there are some good ideas, but good ideas don't make a good class when they are so shit in their execution.
I want to like warlocks so bad because I love Thal'kiel and I like the ideas behind all of their specs but it all just feels bleh.

you'll probably be more satisfied with a druid
feral is a really fun spec that stays pretty consistent in terms of gameplay, so I think it's much better than flippy-floppy warlock
plus you can tank OR heal for queued content if you wish

For as truly awful and mundane as Broken Shores and Argus have been, I will remember Legion for beautiful zones. Suramar, Highmountain, Valsharah and Stormheim. I appreciate them more now that I spend most of my time in Argus...when I come back to do emissaries or bacon quests I'm blown away by how well they were designed.

I make Blizzbucks from gold, though.
