druids are great and u can get plenty of guilds, but guess what, YOU WILL HEAL.
if u want to dps/pvp as damage in vanilla u have to pick a pure dps class, Warlocks for example or mages, rogues, etc.

Also there is a lot of druids, so consider that.

Did you upgrade his taunt at the pet trainer? You also need to teach it new ranks of claw and shit for it to do more damage. To do that you need to tame other pets with a higher rank and learn it from them, then go back and teach it to your main pet.

One of the hardest pve class so competing is fun.

Warlock is fun pvp/easy pve though.
Succubus into soulfire or dotting and juking people is loads of fun.
Pve is easy since theyre in demand for dungies and raids so takes little time to get preraid and a raiding guild spot and raids are pretty simple, put on a curse, shadowbolt, lifetap.
