see i dig selling off when you're done, but you placed hundreds of hours into your account and got less than as you say, a thousand dollars out of it. you could have worked any basic bitch job and gotten way more. Getting something back is better than nothing but isn't the point lost when you just do it again and place another couple dozen (or way way more since >arbitrary lockouts) hours into the game

I only ask because I'm considering selling my own trash account, but I'm not sure since I may want to come back at some point. I wouldn't possibly come back if I had to re-level everything again because i value my time (as I post on Veeky Forums).

I've probably put way more effort and money into my account and I'll never make all of it back, but that doesn't mean I can't make something off of it.
Part of the profit is also the fun I had with the game and the friends I made along the way.

I dunno why people think they need to make back 100% of the monetary value when there's more value in the game experience than just the money.

Making money off of playing a game for fun is like, passive income. Just don't play if you don't want to, and sell off instead of unsubbing, it's not like it takes more than a week or two to get back to where you were considering everything in validated every six months or so.

playerauctions is good, but heavy fees, it's best if you find a friend of a friend that's trustworthy and deal directly instead, but more risky
