Recently I've been picking Shadow Fiend support. Starting with Boots and 2 clarities, I take razes level 1, which allows me to harras the enemy offlaner, and aura level 2 makes me able to trade hits with him. When I hit level 3, I put the ability point in razes and gank mid.

every attack modifier works with it, it's just an automatic attack, javelin is just cheap and it stacks

mid pudge. you use the increased farm and xp a hero can get in the midlane to get a fast level 6 and go gank sidelanes to make space for your team

To the dude who wanted some more info on doom gameplay.
Yes maxing devour is a waste of time because then you won't be able to do anything in lane.
Ideally your first creep would the big red satyr which gives hp regen(don't forget to clear the remaining 2 creeps after you devour the target) once you're closing in to level 6 I try to devour the dark troll summoner because the net is really great.

Also the key to offlane is not feeding the enemy carry, if you see that you can't get close to creeps - then don't , better leech xp or start jungling once you have your infernal blade.

Okay so i usually level up Q W E E E because i've noticed that if i max W i have barely any kill potential and farming is WAY easier with E.
I now always build phase boots and take the movespeed talent because the 10 scorched earth is pretty irrelevant imo.
In lane, i usually buy a bottle from the secret shop(loving the update icefrog btw) , usually after i buy boots, before upgrading to phase boots, so i have more regen and the bounty runes also give me more regen.

Items, i think this is where you seem to be confused but i'll try to explain.
Now doom is a hero who can build pretty much anything.
Depending on the situation of course.
How I build doom myself.

After you finish your phase boots, you have a million choices. I personally if the farming goes good and i can see that i will be able to finish radi in 20 minutes, i do so, becuase radi on doom is literal cancer and at min 20 nobody will want to stay near you.
If not then i usually go drums and shadowblade.
Drums are great for chasing seeing as your base movespeed is trash and shadow blade so you can doom key targets in teamfights (omni, or the squishy enemy carry).

Some items i build later on - shiva, ac, lotus, blademail(if you see that you get focused a lot), pipe, crimson, if your supports are autistic you can go meka yourself but i wouldn't suggest going greaves because you will be wasting your phase boots.

Y&K doesn't seem too broken other than stat efficiency per gold and slot.
S&K has little to no synergy unless you make the maim apply to spells which would be utterly broken.
S&Y&K is too reddit/league.

Just make Y&K reduce your cast times by 16%, make S&K increase the mana cost of maimed enemy's spells by 16%, and having any of the 3 combinations will allow you to cycle between S&Y, Y&K and S&K stats and effects like power treads, instead of being a K&Y&S
