Made a super Steady Breath Nowi, and I need a long-term partner for her who can handle any greens. Obviously the choice candidates are red distant counter sword units, including sword lords that can use triangle adept. Ayra could work too, since no greens stand a chance against her special.
I'm actually considering giving DC to my five-star Olivia, who can use her ruby sword+ to beat greens, as well as dancing for my units. Her merge potential's pretty nice too, meaning she can keep up with Nowi as I merge them up. Good idea or not?

Since Refined x Breath+ always targets the lower Def/Res stat on ranged (many are high Res), it allows them to nuke for big damage. Compliments LB+ for 2 CD +1, like Moonbow.

Otherwise, only -blade+ mages can use it well.

Yeah, she can be a good tank on both ends. Plus she nukes mages, bows and daggers now, so you can always think about going Def too if you want.

Has anyone done the maths on whether it's worth it to give Michalis' Hauteclare the unique upgrade or not? I run Ignis on mine and he blows everything the fuck up with it, so I'm wondering whether to just go for the stat-stick option.

+Spd is a bit better than +Atk for bladememes in my opinion (assuming the bane is the same), since +Spd gives her 35 speed under a hone. This is enough to avoid some doubles and double slower targets, and +3 atk is fairly meaningless when you're getting +30 from hone+fort buffs.

I was in the same dilemma (+Atk -Res and +Spd -Res) and went with +Atk TA Raven. Blade is great but I like TA Raven, especially since flier teams often struggle to deal with archers and she's amazing at countering them.

Yep. Giving him the +def would put him to the 36 def range which would tank a lot physicals. With that Earth Boost, he'll have 44 def and with Fortify, he'll have 50 defenses which is pretty much Horse Lukas.
