Heck, I remember hunting with this guy in Hunsterverse during White Fatalis hunts. He used to shittalk other players on how they cart and fail the quest, even though he got carried himself. Then we did the Event Fata which would last 20-30 minutes. Retard brought a raw longsword, while everyone else brought either a dragon bow and I brought the bombs and Clusts. We failed the quest, all because of him. Then he goes on like "Dude chill." Seriously, fuck those people.

You're right, every community does have that share of assholery. I guess I can't blame you for erring on the side of caution, especially with the prospect of new people entering the general for World, and I hope that if things do really get that bad that they taper off sooner than later. It's just a shame to have to avoid playing with an entire group of people because you may run into some of the bad apples. From my personal experience playing with Veeky Forums and even /v/ in the past things are a lot more tame than I expected.
