Geese is my boyfriend

youtube.com/watch?v=smz_ytTqIyg
Imagine this shit happening in a tournament

Alisa a cute

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh can I get some geese combos

>lars
>tournament

We've seen a 5 gigas team destroy team Qudans, so anything could happen.

Fuck, there's actually gonna be a little esports con in my shit third world country, and there's gonna be a T7 tournament there. Should I go?
They're playing on the Xbone

youtube.com/watch?v=jKfnX3hkeIc

found this while dicking around, dunno if it's worth it though

it's 80 damage without the jump in

>3x wallbreak
>starts with one wall broken

It's still pure sex to look at

Still dunno why you'd bother with the ground throw when it leave you with your back to the wall.

you mean one dude from that team destroy the entire qudan's team

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

For 3 bars, that seems kind of bad.

TheMainMan is having fun

133 Dmg geese combo

Yes

Why not? If it's not gonna be too much hassle to go then you can get some local experience and see how you compare along with getting some friendlies in to learn with and have fun. If you are lucky you might find out about locals you can go to.

>Xbone
If you play on PS4 it will have slightly more lenient input lag but if you play PC vsync off then you will get a some increase. The only thing is make sure your peripheral of choice works on Xbone.

geese really wants the wall to get damage

youtube.com/watch?v=NnrTR34hZzY

It's a bootleg combo that some user came up with. Wait for the pros to discover Geese's potential.

These 2D character can suck my nuts. What a joke Tekken has become.

Holy shit

*one shots you*
patheticskinner.jpg

Hey, it's attracting people and money, keeping the series alive.

Ay, no TRUE Scotsman would ever play a 2D character in Tekken

Works only on Gigas so it's trash

Nice game kekkens...

Holy SHIT why can't I do Hcf's in this fucking game

sweating.jpg

Thanks

>PC

No input leniency

>implying it has more on lagstation4

Don't get a hitbox

>Only played 3d fighting games
>Always hear how difficult Tekken and the combo-system is
>decide to try Guilty Gear because it looks doink
>shit's so fast it's impossible to react to moves
>have to keep track of 5 meters
>combos have super tight timing
what the fuck, how do people even play this shit?

Autism

I get to the first kick in Deadly Rave and my inputs stop reading, what the hell is going on?

...

how can marvel be THAT low

It's a very bad game

Shit roster, ugly as fuck graphics, basic because 2D, and simply boring to look at.
FighterZ will be the same only with better graphics and a worse roster.

meant for

So basically, if you want the big damage, you should be doing the overhead to bounce them up after EX Fudou Ken

>no bonus chapter for Geese
what did Harada mean by this?

It's a terrible game

Whats the point to Geese' mid parry?

You get a combo afterward

I don't think it's a real combo, the overhead bounce is always blocked when I set it to Guard All

Does everyone's df+1 beat AOP?

So that means any seeable mid like Bryan's b1 or Dragunov's b1+2 can't be used against Geese

Yeah, but its the Fudouken. They might crouch because they think you will sweep

just cause you can see them (those aren't imo) doesn't mean you can input hcb in time

>marvel
hahahahahahah

Nope.

So, are there any characters recommended for beginners, and also how long does it take to become at least competent at the game? I've never played Tekken before last Saturday when I got this thing on sale.

It's actually really impressive for a fighting game to have this much player retention

Hanashi ni naran na

play whoever you want
it takes a year of playing with the right mindset to "get" the game (this doesnt mean that you are good at this point)

>are there any characters recommended for beginners
You can pick anyone if you REALLY want but the best to learn with are Shaheen, Kazumi, and Jack. The ones generally considered the worst for beginners will be highly technical characters like Mishimas, Nina, or characters that will teach you bad habits like Bryan.

>also how long does it take to become at least competent at the game?
Define competent.

A guy called framewhisperer on youtube has has good tutorials on some of the characters. From my own experience, I'd say Shaheen is very easy because none of his stuff is difficult to perform mechanically. And he doesn't have instant running attacks like Claudio and Kazumi, who are otherwise easy characters.

NO GEESE THAT'S NOT A BOY

Leo is a man

Leo looks like Rock Howard in this pic

I think today is the the day I finally break up with Steve. It's been a few months coming but I don't even feel like playing him anymore. Everything is a struggle. Maybe I can try to play him again if I'm a good Tekken player in a few years. Wish me luck on picking a new main guys.

STAND UP

DIE

If you want a high tier and easy execution I would recommend Leo, Alisa, or Asuka

is there a fucking trick to doing raging storm? send help.

goddamn kof players

>tfw caved in and bought the goose

Thanks I'm already pretty competent with Leo but I'm going to try to learn Hwoarang next I think. I think he will fit me pretty well as I like being aggressive and doing flashy shit. I basically want the 3rd Strike Makoto of Tekken and Hwoarang seems the most fitting. Or maybe Heihachi. Leo is my backup if all else fails.

Do you have to have Geese to pick his stage in player matches?

Its funny because leo looks like fucking rock

What do you do about opponents that just back away slowly?

wr2->d2->backdash->wr2->iwr2->d2->backdash

Due to input leniency in kof, you could do hcb 3 times in a row to bust out the storm.

>hcb 3 times in a row
Sounds even worse

...

yea i know, i havent played kof in ages and that doesnt seem to work in tekken. i probably just suck though.

I think that was the joke

What does Kazuya's mist step do? Is it just a faster sidestep?

because everyone knows it was meant to be a disney scam

Lets you skip a motion in his EWGF so it comes out one frame faster

Geese is so right yet Noctis is so wrong...

OH FUCK THATS RIGHT

Geese has some hidden move where he jumps from the wall and attacks. Pretty sure its the same input as the side switch from the wall for other characters. b, u/b at the wall, right?

It's more or less useless. Its only utility is making crouchdash moves easier because you can skip the down input (mist step counts as crouching kinda)

just won my first ranked match

i feel like i'm going to throw up, what the fuck

Geese appeals to veteran fightan players, Noctis appeals to Gen Z brainless retards. Be glad both characters weren't aimed at casuals.

Noctis is fine, shut up.

I know that feel man

feels great right?

why did you post that

Why not?
shitposting is fun

Seems Geese has special intro lines for every Mishima

250+ wins and i finally reached my first warior with Miguel. This is my first tekken game.
I'm so happy i'm going to cry.

>new update introduced memory leaks
HARADAAAAAA

BISHIDA

>or characters that will teach you bad habits like Bryan

...

Kazama too

I think Geese is mid tier
He does pretty good damage at the wall but in an infinite stage, he barely does any damage, not to mention you have to work for your damage. Plus just about every single move can be side stepped both sides
That's just my 2 cents, what do y'all think
