You need to use Free Trade tickets to trade, a R card uses 1 ticket and SR uses 3.
Every day you get replenished up to 3 tickets if you have less than 3. You also get tickets every time you do a platinum gacha pull.
It adds up, I have about 2500 free trade tickets because I only hunt after my favorites.

They occasionally rerun old cards, especially Idol Produce R cards and medal SRs. But that's inconsistent. You can get special gacha tickets that give you an old event card, but that's very unreliable for getting particular cards because the tickets are hard to come by.
The easiest way to get past event cards is to just buy them on the free trade market.

Depends. Some of the old one got dirt cheap and some got expensive.

Unlike SS, tiering in CG comes down entirely to money. There's no player skill as a factor. It's literally just "How much money are you willing to spend on drinks".

Depends on the event. Obviously though, events with heavy hitting idols are more difficult to handle. But for ones with less popularity, they're kind more manageable. Still pretty fucking hard though. And hard as in you either throw in lots of money or have lots of spare drinks for some reason.
