There aren't role divisions like that. The only thing that comes close is certain raid encounters divide up your team, but anyone can do any role (for instance carrying an artifact, or grabbing aggro)

I fear this game is going to die a rapid death if they don't push some real tangible QoL and content after the new year. This shit is really truly abysmal, sorely disappointed with most of the game.

Glimmer cap isn't SO bad. There's hardly anything to buy except mods, but when you do get to buying them you're always running short. Plus it makes the Faction Rally reward meaningfully expensive; you can get one for cheap if you have three characters (who doesn't?) but to get three for convenience / tri-elements then you need to work for it. Without a glimmer cap you can accumulate so much as a NEET that no price is ever a problem and no decision ever needs to be made.

You know, it'd be great if respawn mechanics allowed you to pick where to spawn from a map and gave you enough time to decide. If teams could wait until everyone is dead to pick a new location to all spawn in at the same time (even in uncoordinated no-voice solo play) there would be a lot less steamrolling.

Considering I've killed someone in a 1v4, defended myself long enough for the guy i killed to spawn behind me, then kill me I'd take anything else.

The only thing I could think of to make this work is placing nodes and allowing spawn based on proximity and distance, not allowing someone to spawn too closely or too distant. You could also take into account "area saturation" which would allow you to spawn with your team if they're close enough and haven't been engaged for x seconds to incentivize team play.
