How did they fuck this up? Shoulda been pretty simple...

i suppose. women are inherently more law and order oriented after all, if their actions like constant nagging about dirty living space and desire for bigger governments and more laws that take care of them is to be believed.

Started playing Soul Hackers on 3ds. Gameplay is absolute ass. I laughed at battle "animations" and music.
Zachary Parker
>I laughed at battle "animations" and music. Animations are because it's a rereleased Sega Saturn game, but if you don't like the music you're a pleb
Kayden Fisher
How the fuck can you think the gameplay is ass? Do you not like anything pre-Nocturne?
Ian Rogers
I mean battle music only.
Looks like I don't like anything pre-SMTIV. At least this game doesn't make you feel like you're playing some archaic shit.
Carter Lewis

Battle interface. Animations. Save system. Sound effects. First-person four-directional movement.
Gabriel Barnes
No, you're just fixing shitty game design.
Kevin Evans
You'll get the ability to save anywhere at some point early in the game, but I can't say anything to convince you otherwise on your other complaints.
Robert Martin
these games are pretty much praised universally within the groups that discuss them but has there ever been a moment for you where you wanted to just stop playing? is there a title you actually hate?
Jayden Barnes
SMT II's Neutral path was probably the lowest I ever felt towards a game in this series. It's just so mind-meltingly bland and uninteresting which is sad because usually the strongest point brought up about II is its story. When people think of II they think of Law for a reason.
Angel Jones
How do I rack up coins at the casino in Revelations Persona? I am trying out different slot machines in Black Market but the odds tend to range from bad to horrible.

Most unique spells can't be passed on through fusion or whisper

okay /smtg/ is it okay to you guys if Sol Niger became a fire spell instead of Almighty in the future?
Wyatt Myers
Not hate but I didn't enjoy DeSu's gameplay enough to finish it. I got stuck at day 6 and dropped it. The story was just getting good too
Jackson Reyes
What do you mean by that?
Jordan Fisher
How pants-on-head retarded would it be for Law and Chaos to team up against the hero on the Neutral route to stop him from fucking up all the things?
Ethan Howard
Not the same guy but isn't it a really strong attack? I guess changing it to a common element would give more opportunities to play around it.
William Phillips
what's your consensus on P5's version of Deadly Fury?
Samuel Perez
It's funny that I consider SH one of the weakest megaten games I've played but I consider these the good parts of the game.
Isaac Myers
I prefer Nocturne's version of it. Better for sweeping enemies.
Levi Scott
I tried to play both Last Bible and Last Bible 2. They were just so goddamn mind-numbingly boring that I just eventually dropped both. I never made the conscious choice to stop playing them I just eventually realized it had been six months since the last time I played, and I just sort of shrugged.
Eli Thomas
>not liking smt x dragon quest
Jayden Gray
I can deal with a bland story if there's good gameplay. I can deal with bad gameplay if there's a good story. Hell, I can even deal with a bland story and bad gameplay if the game doesn't require me to keep track of the worst negotiation and fusion mechanics in the entire series. Unfortunately, Last Bible has all three of those going for it.
Elijah Mitchell
I thought all those three were pretty good. You are just spoiled by the newer games.
Landon Anderson
is it normal for your alignment to shift so much? i was suddenly law after killing gotou but went back to neutral after saying no to thor asking me if i wanted to fight in g*d's name. i stuck with neutral for a little while but then jumped to chaos after being given the option to help the demons since i felt bad.
Wyatt Watson
Okay, the gameplay I can understand, plenty of people still enjoy the old, grind-heavy Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest style. The fusion and negotiation, I can follow, it's really not that much different from Megami Tensei 1, you just have to do it more frequently because of how compressed the game is. The story though? I don't understand how anyone could enjoy that. It's not even bad, there's just nothing there. In both cases, it's essentially just "an ancient evil has awoken, kill everything in front of you until you can beat it."
Brayden Stewart

I really hate this blinking eyes shit they've been doing in all the 3DS games. It looks so fucking stupid
Matthew Garcia
it's been around for a while
Justin Barnes
You mean the blinking eyes thing that was in fucking SMT 1/2? The blinking eyes thing that was in IV as well, due to IV pretty much being SMT 1 worship? Fuck off.
Hunter Gonzalez
Judge Zelenin really fucked my shit up too on my first playthrough. All I can really suggest is equip the frost cannon and do the trick to abuse enemy AI.
Christian Fisher
The game is still under development, so the plot elements are up in the air. However, the assets we have received include the basics of the game and plot outline. As typical to the series, you start out in a Tokyo, just before an influx of demons. The PC is listed as coming from Shinjuku. I'd assume because of railroads. Not sure if that means the character himself is from there or simply that is where the game starts. In any case, the structure seems to be fairly non-linear so far. Key elements described are trying to explore different aspects to alignments. In this case, there seem to be 9(?) guys described in the treatment as alignment reps. Also 3 of them have "Ma" somewhere in their name, so I think this might be a reference to Strange Journey somehow. Each one of them is described in terms of a representative demon and element. For example, Mamoru is listed with Light-Chaos, Susano-o, and Force. Not sure if that means they use those, they turn into that demon, are reincarnations of those demons, or what. Anyway, it seems like the structures all lead to the same kind of ending situation of fighting against many different kinds of demons at once. Seems kind of lame to have the endings converge.
Carson Long
Nah, shit like the SMTI bosses are easier but you haven't properly played SJ until you have experienced the Mem Aleph battle.
Andrew Martinez
>you haven't properly played SJ until you have experienced the Mem Aleph battle chaosfags btfo eternally
Lucas Bailey
Is the stuff coming out of those dead demons supposed to be Magatsuhi or something similar?
Aiden Sanchez
LB1's story is bare-bones, but it's really not much better or worse than that of NES games like FF 1-3 or even Megami Tensei 1, and I was satisfied with the story for those games too. I guess that when I play games developed for old systems, my brain automatically lowers the bar for what I expect out of the game's story and becomes more impressed when I discover good writing. In other words, it's good for your brain...whatever that means.
I haven't started playing LB2 yet so I can't comment on that one.

SMT2's YHVH was a nightmare for me when I was a teenager
Mason Williams
Is it just me, or is the art for Dahn a bit wonky?
Michael Russell
In DDS1, you can overlevel to an absurd degree before beating the final boss without using the intended strategy becomes a realistic possibility. Though I guess if you mean SMT in terms of mainline exclusively, I would argue YHVH from IVA, just because he's clearly balanced for a high-90s party and has infinite power and unending curse.
Brayden Phillips
As someone who used to draw fusion trees on paper when playing DeSu to help me plan for fusing a near-invincible Metatron, those first minutes were frustrating to listen to. The actual problem is that the megaten fusion mechanics are too deep for him.
Tyler Myers
The if final bosses are hard as shit, I don't think they're possible without grinding. That goes for the final dungeon too.
Elijah Taylor
He admits that. His planning style is point-build style instead of fusion style.
Andrew Rivera
Only Persona 1 and KMT 1 have me slightly bored, i will finish them eventually. Its probably just Megaten burn out since i marathoned SMT 1&2 before playing those. KMT 2 is fun though.
