If you want to play for the story then you will have a lot of fun with any class. Pay no attention to the boo birds as each class has some interesting things.

Best thing I found is to make a back story of your alt. Is he/she good? evil? neutral? What kind of person do you see yourself as on that individual. For example if you are playing a Trooper are you GI Joe Real 'Merrican Hero or are you going to be a War Criminal and know you can do whatever you want because they need you.

Sith Juggernaut is fun. Relatively tough even as a DPS class, LOCAL MAN IS FUCKING INVINCIBLE as Immortal.

Also, he has the most failute free class line. Most classes fuck up at some point and have to spend a chapter just making up for it. Sith Warrior just keeps on trucking over people's faces from day one and never really stops.
