Chicherio, ooo mama!

I like how you guys keep the vicki and don't say visee but suddenly saying kikero or kaysar is a travesty
never mind it should be winnie widee wicky
If it's pronounced like a "K" why didn't they just write it with one?
The "C" came from the greek "Gamma" and in its origins it made both the sound /K/ and the sound /G/ that's why C and G are so similar
Also, I think that not many latin words used the "K", but I'm willing to be corrected
"Sisero", because the Latin I know best is medieval Latin, not Republican Latin.
Tsitsero.
This is how I've been taught to pronounce traditional Latin and it's the only Latin I use.
>how I've been taught to pronounce traditional Latin
Were you taught by a monkey
Next you'll tell me it's pronounced Tsao Tsao and not Cow Cow
Kek-iro
Those are all correct, Caesar is Kaisar, Cicero is Kikero. I'm not saying you should pronounce them like that in regular conversations, that would be really pretentious, but that was still the original pronounciation.
Then you weren't taught traditional latin, were you now
Those are forms of traditional Latin as opposed to classical Latin.
Durr
I'm fucking retarded, excuse me Hans
Siss-sir-oh
Ignore the other posts itt they're shitty bait.

It's Kikero if you lived in his time, Chee-cha-ro if you use medieval Latin and sis-uh-row if you're an anglophone turd

Poopyenoos
Why does english sound so plebian compared to latin?
correct answer
poo-pyai-noos
I hate this threads because there's no way for a non-native english speaker to give his opinion unless he lived a long time amongst anglos or has spent a high amount of his life to get used to their customs, as opposed to just learning tge language.
English pronunciation is so random, I can't even start thinking a way to write how I pronounce Cicero. In spanish I would just write Kikero and everyone would understand. In english I have to write Keekarah or something like that, but I could also just write Keekehroh. No option will be entirely satisfying, and a shitload will get very close yet not close enough.
Tl;dr most english speakers are not able to pronounce latin based languages and will never be
K is a barbarian letter. If your language uses K for anything that aren't foreign words then congratulations, your nation is barbaric!

Guys, I'm Italian and I studied Latin at school.
We always pronounced Chee-chair-row and veni vidi vichee
As seen in the tv series: ROME
That's because you use ecclesiastical pronunciation which is the best one.
The other two are either anachronistic or an anglo saxon travesty.
Tic-tac-toe

Because you're an escapist fag that has a make-believe nostalgia for a bygone age?
Sissy-row
This.
We have for some reason decided they used a hard C, but we really have no idea how Cicero pronounced his name. You can try to interpolate from the Romance languages but fucking French is all soft Cs.
English is just a mixture of french, latin and anglo saxon.
Whereas Latin is more of it's own language.
Irish Gaelige confirmed patrician language
Kickero
Tsitsero
>anglo saxon travesty
