If you want to do a 10-roll you'll have to do a few nodes in France as well.
The other strategy is to just get quartz enough for a single roll, and then reroll straight away. I preferred the 10 quartz roll, though, even though it sucked.
Watching something while doing it over and over again helped.

You could also go back and get some from the free missions in Fuyuki. 3 missions per quartz there IIRC, some of the story nodes in France have like 5 missions to clear a node and get quartz.
