They all give the same amount by level and through chatter in the campsite. You get more essence the higher level they are, but I've yet to get more than 3 at once from any of them.

They've updated a ton of small things like that in Fire Emblem Heroes to be more intuitive after players have complained about them. I 100% expect them to fix it in a future update

Each animal has a specific list of furniture, yes, but since the furniture only appears as an option after you unlock the villager, I highly doubt you'll be able to have you campsite ready before then unless you whale the fuck out of the game.

It would also be great if, when there's a request for help in the friend's list, they put a button for "lend a hand to all" so I don't have to scroll through for people I might have missed earlier in the day.

Choose the "auto-place" option so you don't have to set up it manually. It also lets you revert back to your camp setup you previously had after the "cutscene" plays.

IIRC they always ask for five pieces of furniture, and yeah, just get the stuff they list out after you unlock them. After the starting few levels, furniture can become a bitch to unlock especially ANYTHING with preserves, fuck you cornstalks

Like the other dude said, usually the furniture they want is unlocked when the villager is unlocked. Crafting all the furniture in anticipation is kind of a waste of resources. Use should check a guide to see what villagers want if you want to anticipate inviting them and save resources.

I'm managing to build up a lot of preservatives as I don't want Jay anywhere near my campsite, but cotton is majorly hard for me to farm as most furniture now is asking for 45 - 60 pieces and not enough animals are giving it away.

Resetting to locate a villager house somewhere else. It seems the games is obsessing over a single spot, very rarely (once every 10, often more resets) to change. Should i just wait tomorrow and try resetting again or am i fucked and have to rely on pure RNG? Giant clams can be combined with K. K.'s songs to make music boxes and Cyrus' place. Scallops used to be traded with Pascal in previous games but in NL they changed it to the sea creature scallop.

First villager is always same based on your personality choice. The next three are from a small pool of 5. You can tell because their friendship requirement is Lv5 instead of Lv7. Then the pool becomes completely random, most of the villagers are Lv7 but occasionally you'll get those last two Lv5s.
