What was killing me was the game constantly crashing until I changed the launch options and disabled bokhe (which I have no idea what the fuck that is).

It's an anti-aliasing technique that is really really good but makes performance into a bucket of asses.

I have a gaymin laptop and even in 4k with everything set to max the game was getting like silky smooth 80+ FPS. I had to google a fix for it. Doesn't seem like much of an issue for a 1070 but this game is what like 8 years old? Not too bad.
