Why the fuck would you need a version of the Mega Crash/Burst/insertnameopfstolenconcepthere that is free? Because little kids are going to cry when they get tossed around? How about... hm... I dunno... Don't fucking get launched in the first place. Moves are telegraphed as fuck in this game, so the whole thing is pointless.
5. Roster size.
Not only did they ripoff the ratio system from CvS2, they tried to launch a potential 3v3 fighting game with a roster of 8 characters, one of which is just a composite of the other 7. I know they added in more, but that was just unprofessional and proof that Mike Z doesn't know what polish is. I mean, fuck, the original version even required you to download a pdf of the move list.
6. Indie
People already see it as the little game that could and forgive all of labzero's fuck ups just because they aren't a big company. Then they turn around and charge an assfuckload of money for one character while they could afford to create Fukua without anyone asking.

What fighting games do you play? Most of them involve anime and cartoon girls and all that weird shit. If you want a normal playerbase, play Battlefield. Even most of the people I know that play Injustice (and I mean actually play, not casuals that don't go to tournaments) have jacked off to DC Comics related porn at least once or twice. You're in a community full of furries and autists and you just have to accept that your peers are going to be those kinds of people unless you just want to play with WINBACK all day. And even then, I don't think he plays online much and he plays DoA. Ironic, I know, but it's because Virtua Fighter is dead and it has Jacky.
I'll take that as a compliment, so thanks. I'm pretty happy seeing how far I've come in just 11 weeks.

This pisses me off to no end. I get that a lot of moves will end up looking or behaving the same as other ones just due to the kind of game it is, but when you have shit like Fortune literally just doing a berserker barrage and SAYING it, you need to realize you're not making a cute reference, you're just taking shit you like from another game and putting it in yours.

Yeah roster was small. Shit's expensive and they got fucked by publishers who promised to help, one way or another. I don't see what's wrong with taking the ratio system.
The campaign to get the characters had large (but reasonable in my opinion) goals, but the DLC was free for anyone 2 weeks after their release. They could afford to create Fukua because Fukua was already made, it's Filia + unused sprites.

Why is MVCI so unfun to watch?
I could never stand watching street figher or tekken or MK and it's clones, GG is barely interesting, but MvC2 and 3 were the greatest thing to sit down and watch a couple hours of. I never missed an Evo or Curleh, and have watched just about every major tournament recording.
So naturally I was hype as shit when Infinite got announced... But then why is it so fucking boring? How did they take the magic out, and why? It's so depressing.
And I never took fighting games very seriously, but I could dick around in MvC3 for hours on end, I put 20 into infinite and uninstalled I was just bored to tears and I can't figure out why.

The play space is about half the size of mvc3, which feels tiny compared to the cielingless football field we used to play on. So now like every other shitty boring fighter, players are constantly in each other's assholes and/or in a corner. Neutral is gone, as is any real mobility, and without mobility there's no cool shit. The game is also a LOT slower, and no assists means less action. There's also no xmen. It's fucking lame. It's gay as aids. Pray it's scrapped in two years and we get a proper MVC4
