no quests today? seems to be related to patch 10.0. lot of people, including me, didnt get a quest today. always have empty log, so didnt miss or mistakenly complete. completed and stopped playing yesterday afternoon. logged in after patch today and no new quest.

Those who have crazy amounts of dust, do you dust legendaries,golds or epics? Im currently at 1.5k and sitting on top of a shitpile all the way from GVG

i used to dust just everything golden i didn't have a normal copy of already. now as of recently, i keep golden copies of cards that i know i will use.

1.5k dust? That's fucking nothing. I dust all golden if I already have regular copies or if it's a card that is just terrible and I'd rather have the dust. I keep everything else, I even have a huge wild collection but don't play wild.

Yes we are. He's opening 1 pack. The median is the important number, not the average. Hearthstone's pack opening is a classic example of where median is better used than the mean when talking about single player and not all player in general over the coarse of a year.

The mean is a used well for comparing the average dust value of all the packs few people opened. To compare my success to yours we would use the average dust value of all my packs and compare them to the average dust value of all your packs. But when talking about a single pack that the user would have opened from the quest, the median is the number you want to look at because it's the most likely outcome when he opens it. And that's 40 dust.

If the median is equal to the smallest amount of dust you can get, it means that 50% or more of all the packs will contain the smallest possible amount of dust. Therefore yes, in this case that's all we need to calculate what the pack with the highest probability is.

No it isnt. If you dk guldan after jarhead, youll have a 30 hp total. You dont reset to 30 - youd be at 15 (or lower), but you can then start succing back hp or heal up to 30 with spellstone/spells.

No idea why, you can just message the person "hey play a face deck, i'll pass the turn" and do it in the same amount of time as conceding at 15 health anyway.

Correct. The only purpose is to make it more tedious to self farm quests. Previously you could concede at 15 health. Now you will have to kill your alt which will take like 2 to 3 more turns. They really want to discourage people self farming because it hurts their player counts and increases queue times.
