Church pick in tricked mode is all thrust attacks, right? How much would the untricked mode suffer in terms of damage if I only put thrust gems on the weapon?

All thrust attacks, yes. As for untricked, the first R1 is thrust and the rest are slash attacks.

The entire DLC is the tale of a tragedy. Bloodborne is as much cosmic horror as it is Gothic horror, and with that territory comes tragedy. I always interpreted the cinematic's dialogue as saying it's not a great solution, but it'll have to do, for this tragedy that could not be answered for.

We didn't really end curse, not truly, we just sort of dumped it, killed it, threw it under a rug it'll never get out of. It was a messy end to a messy situation. The Old Hunters is a bad fucking feeling throughout.

There's multiple types of BA gems ya know.
I personally ended up getting 3 perfect dirty, 4 perfect bolt, 2 perfect fire, and even a perfect pulsing gem before getting a perfect arcane one

I got a 23.1% arc + 14 arc for my Kos Parasite. Beast Down but that doesn't really bother me since I'll be using it for PvP

As for Gael, all you need to do is set your Age to 3 (0 being Young, 1 being Mature, 2 being Aged). You can't get just his beard, you'll get his entire face. The beard (and parts of the face) clip through any equipment you wear.

The age data is stored near the stats, right?

It's stored in the facedata block. I haven't checked DaS3 myself, but if it's anything like Bloodborne it should straight up have the word FACE in plain text at the beginning of it.

The value that's 64 here is Age, so on a scale of 0 to 2, the Beggar's age is 100.

Not really, I get pretty decent damage on it with just 15 arc, 40 str, and tempering gems, over 400 for an R1 when buffed.

Nah, just a bit of Arc and you'll be smashing things weak to bolt.

Yes, 25 Str 50 Arc and Nourishing Gems (with +bolt secondary effects) to maximize the damage.

Beast Cutter Tricked 2 at range

Focus on hitting his head, until it breaks: then, break its forelegs and hit the head for more damage; eventually, repeat the process with its rear legs.
Play unlocked, run away for explosions and dodge toward it, if it does the jump attack.

Go for the head, go for legs during lava vomits. Get something with range and quick recovery to slap his face while baiting/spacing out head swipes

I've been focusing on its head, baiting out its bites which leaves it open for an attack. I can hit it for 1k damage with a charged R2 to its head when it's down. It's usually miss-timing an attack that usually gets me, since the Kirk is slow.

I'll try out a different weapon, perhaps the Beast Cutter as suggested.
