Dealing more corrosive damage obviously means you do more damage but also increases the chance of corrosive status procs as opposed to the other damage types on your weapon.
You don't need necessarily need more corrosive damage, you need higher status. Procs reduce their armor, meaning they die even faster.

whats the best way to get Nitain Extract besides alerts? My friend and I tried the Sabatoge mission but finding the caches is gay shit.

use 4 cp and u wont have to worry about armor
or use things that bypass armor
or brute force the damage til armor doesnt matter

Banshee only outdpses anything pre-level 50 because everything dies regardless. Heck, there's a reason that EVs rarely have a chance to do their job in Hydron with a Saryn, because everything dies instantly.

Not saying it's the best, this is the one I'm formaing for as I type this.

It can remove 100% of armor with one 4 due to over 235% ability strength + corrosive, has over 13k flat EHP, not including energy gained from rage/the healing over time combined, 1.61 energy cost/sec on Renewal. I've looked at a lot and this is the one that fits me best without gutting energy costs on other shit, making Renewal cost like 2.5 - 3.5 energy a second, and hits power strength requirements
