All the mentors react to certain outfits if you're wearing 2 or more pieces of it and talk to them. Might have to try a few times before it pops though.

True, some of the setups and descriptions of PQs do go a bit off the rails sometimes, but never really on the level of the old games' what-ifs (aside from the one PQ that directly references a what-if in another game)

I believe the game it's referencing was Super Saiya Desetsu or something like that.

Oh yeah, that one was great too. I also like the one where Vegeta "joins" the Ginyu Force but is just totally pissed off and silent for the whole thing. (And if you take too long Ginyu will have a bunch of dialogue as well, which is nice.)
