What's the lag situation looking like? I heard something about the server's host having issues and everyone was lagging, is that fixed?

What's the MS like for East Coast USA players?

We plan on making characters on both factions but what faction seems to have the most players and is the player base really hovering around 300 people?

Is it hard finding groups? I saw someone talking about spending hours trying to find a group for Deadmines, is this true?

100 ping for east cost, both factions have barely any players, you will likely spend hours finding groups for dungeons, after a few more weeks it will be impossible. Getting a raid group together will be next to impossible, there will likely only be 1 raiding guild per faction if that.

it was a sever host issue, lights hope, warmane and elysium all had realms with ping issues that day, it's resolved now.

you can't make both factions on same account on everyst, alliance has the edge in population, playerbase is probably 600ish, with 400 ppl peaks on weekends

you just have to join a guild and then it's not so bad, i haven't seen single non-gulid dungeon run, that's just the culture on low pop servers though

Not 100% sure but I'm getting 150-160 from west coast, so I'd guess a little better than that.

This isn't scientific but so far it seems like alliance has more, with horde starting to catch up. I'd estimate it at 60:40 but again that's based purely on observation and hopping on alts to /who.
The peak today was uh, I want to say 370 something, but yeah it generally hovers around 300ish (on at once, not total, of course).

It can be for sure. It's shared quest loot so if someone is around it isn't difficult to group up, but for dungeons it can be a struggle depending on who is on and their level ranges. Most groups are primarily guild based so far from what I've seen with pugs filling in the gaps.
I'm hopeful that will change at 60 but we'll see.

Thanks for the answers, it sounds comfy, I'm just sick of the overpopulation of other realms, I normally level with 2 other friends but we struggled so hard to hit 60 on Elysium because of the mass overpopulation, got ganked by groups of 60s every 2 seconds, every town was killed and camped, it sucked big time.

as far as i can tell the population has remainted constant 360 average on weekdays

with that said...that is a massive feat considering almost any server these days that releases to sub 600 pop just slowly bleeds pop until it dies

everyst is at least growing at the replacement rate required for these low servers that bleed pop daily and that's encouraging

The population hasn't gone up since launch, it's stable around 350-375 people, it hit maybe 400 people once and that was literally it, I don't think it'll go up past 500 personally

Not trying to talk shit about the server or anything, just being real, the staff is great, the server is stable and bug free, there's no lag, it's an amazing server, but people aren't going to join because according to everyone under 1k players = dead

300 players is dead. Stop trying to pretend like people are being silly for wanting more than 1 or 2 raiding guilds on an entire server.

At level 23, have had a fine time leveling. Ran into a few cool people, from guilds surfs up and morrowind. Maybe could see how dungeons will get harder to find in time fornlower level or more middle ground levels. Thats just if therrs not new people coming to the server. Ive tlaked to quite a few people who have friends just starting up, or that have caught up to me because i level slow.
