lmao dead game dead thread
kmp

New piggy original robutt tomorrow.

Scale suggests a medium or light mech with at least 4 missile hardpoints.

Do we have the shock paddles to make ded gaem come to life?

>when the mech_con thread won't even make it to mech_con

Pssshshshshshhhhhhhht, allou

>HSN-7P -Quirks Adjusted
Wow, as usual. MWO is dead and pig is just milking it till everyone leaves.

I'd still be willing to bet on a Crud.

I could have sworn Russ said they'd not do a PGI OC Mech again, but I must have been mistaken.
They won't make it an industrial one, if that's another pig original, that much is for certain.

yoba eto ti?

I dunno, I kinda like the industrialmech aesthetic. Then again a lot of the old fucking grognards are REALLY asshurt buttpained about them- one fucking retarded old man flew into a screaming fit over the Roughneck, in his own words, "The mech that almost killed Battletech!"

YOYOYOYO MAH KONGLET BOIS WHATS CRACKIN

holy christ she's unattractive

Did she eat a vending machine recently?
And when will she be a mech in MWO?

Please stop making these threads. Thank you in advance.

What the fuck happened?

One has to wonder when nostalgia bucks drive sales so much, even on robots like the Thiccatos.

Cultural Marxism. She went full anti-trump and forgot to take care of her body. Many such occasions.

>one fucking retarded old man flew into a screaming fit over the Roughneck, in his own words, "The mech that almost killed Battletech!"

Fuck dude I thought the Roughneck was awesome. It may just be me but I like the industrialmech look, and it has great hardpoint placement. I don't buy heroes a lot either but I got a Reaver when it went on sale and it's pretty fucking good.

Gamewise, it doesn't seem to be a bad machine, same for aesthetics. Fluffwise, it squares really badly with construction rules and the like for TT.

>Player begs for quick win in chat, because he has to go out for coffee
>is running stock Timby Prime
What did he mean by this?

Wow look at that leg armor, it's an assault mech for sure!

>What did he mean by this?
"Pls carry me senpai-kun, my buttholeru is still sore from the entire gymnastics and football teams running a bukkakke train on it from last game."

Damn. I like decent sized legs and not sticks, but those are really messed up.

I sort of want to play MWO, but I don't want to pay out the ass just to make my mech any color but puke green or dull blue.

Colors are sometimes event prizes. IF you do grabdeal a mech before early adopter expires, you get colors as a bonus.

American Reasoning?

Is it that time of the day again?

It's EU primetime so yes, yes it is.

pity baump

nevar forget

It hurts.

It's just elderly dementia setting in.

They shit on Roughneck and then take some viagra to fap it to Uziel, which is also a complete Microsoft OC Donutsteel.

>tfw you're circlestrafing a SNV to death in your K9 and then you accidentally a friendly AC/20

Which ones?

>not having one of the only 2 achievements that matter in this game
lol?

I am fairly new to MWO (though I played for a couple days in 2014) and I have almost no idea what is going on. I have a locust with two machine guns on it, and I've done incredibly well so far being a hazard.

I come here to ask; I've seen the mechs people recommend to newer players and I think they're kinda' goofy, so would an Uziel work? How are PPCs? I've had a thing for the Uziel since I was a kid, but if it's trash in this game I'll just try and go for something else.

I grabbed dealed the uziel and I regret it

Only Uziel variants that work is the hero with 2x MRM20 + 4x ML, and the 6 energy variant with an LFE and 6x MPLs.

Are you going to add anything to that or just "I did thing, regret"?

Why do you regret it? Are the weapons shit? Is it not survivable or what?

Also does anyone have any comments on the Crab? I prefer mechs that have guns closer to the hull, but there aren't really a lot of options.
I also discriminate against gundam looking mechs

Uziel and crab are slightly subpar as mediums and rare to see in games. MPL crab is probably the best choice of the bunch.

If you are new, then it doesn't matter, play whatever you think is fun.

At the end of the day, pilot > mech choice.

>I also discriminate against gundam looking mechs

You know that's all of them, right?
Non-Gundam-looking mechs is stuff like pic related or Gurren Lagann.

Your picture is exactly what I'm talking about. Mechs that just look like a dude in a robot suit. The Commando is a good example, or the Atlas. I'm not always against them (In MW4:M the Wolfhound is a motherfucker and absolute easymode in the arena) but if I had the option between something like the Catapult or something with people hands, I'm going to pick the Catapult. In a game like MWO, where I have to put forth a load of time or money for a mech, that's way more significant to me. Only in a situation like the Wolfhound am I going to go with the goofy people-body mech.

laem monee sink

>taytay got fat

Harabec BTFO

Also Johnny North pls porth thicc t swift

Man, the Crab used to be REALLY good. I'll agree that the rescale turning it from a Commando-sized mech to an actual 50 tonner did hurt it but I still think it's in a pretty good place with geometry, size and weaponry.

I can tell you why the Uziel sucks. It dies like a bitch. Huge torsos that are easy to focus.
Also convergance issues when you use most-all hardpoints
It is only suited for heavypepsi poptarting and its not even a top tier choice for that.
Crab on the other hand still has good hitboxes, but it lacks hardpoints, tonnage and subsequently build variety.
You can do mpls and thats about it, like other anons mentioned.

If you want a good IS medium that is not humanoid in shape, get a Bushwacker.
Great in pub que and dominates scouting, if you play that shit.

hello

Hi There!

...

...

what the fuck am I looking at

Maybe it's their version of a hellhound?

Does it have some form of a mech Jewish nose and beard?

I like it. I hope it's IS.

nigger does that look anything like a hellhound
this is an OC robot no matter how you look at it

>Russ then: We aren't going to have any more original robots since the roughneck didn't sell
>Russ now:
P O S I T I ON
A T
T H E
T I M E
the memes have now gone full fucking circle

funny you say that
it could very easily be a clan mech since PGI already gave IS an OC robots; why not clams?

...

>it could very easily be a clan mech since PGI already gave IS an OC robots; why not clams?

I am not buying it if it's a Clan Mech.

Are stalkers good for anything? These quirks suck.

>meme'd into buying misery back in the day

Stalkers suck in MWO because of the way heat works and because bracketing is difference because PGI decided to have arbitrary range changes and falloff.

Stalkers are great mechs in TT because of their heat bracketing at long/mid and short range, at least until like... the 3060s. Then they just show their age too much.

It's the hellhound

The weapon placement is almost the same.

Stalkers are nowhere near as top tier as they once were, but they're till perfectly functional if boring assaults.

Quirks are lackluster but good hitboxes and really high mounted hardpoints more than make up for it.

That ain't no goddamn Conjurer.

>team pushes, flanks, overextends
>meanwhile 1/3rd of the enemy team was flanking
>our team just keeps running into the middle of nowhere
>I've realized where the enemy team is in my heavy and move to fight them
>call for my retarded team to stop pushing into nowhere and come back me up
>they don't
>go 4v1
>die, predictably
>team FINALLY waddles over and murderballs what's left of the enemy team
Every fucking time. How the fuck do I grab their attention, do I have to pop a UAV?

I could say the same for many of the mechs we've gotten.

That is also not a Conjurer.

>drop a few heat sinks, go full ferro and drop some shield arm armor
>3MPL 2ML STD K9
I think this is a nice acceptable compromise.

I'll conjure that ass,

ded

It's not the Hellhound, what with that being a fairly obvious UAC 10 in the right arm.
Or for that matter, the smattering of missiles in either torso. And the left torso laser box.

Looks like a variant.

This thing was my absolute nigger in mw4 mercs.

Usually lasted until I got the mauler.

I've been hearing we're supposed to be getting a 90 tonner.

i dropped into a quickplay with you kong fuckwits.

you don't focus fire, you don't call open targets you don't, in short, do ANYTHING even remotely approaching playing the fucking game. apparently all you tards could do was run around like headless fucking chickens being useless. and yet you're the fucking idiots calling others SHIT at the game and criticising them. so pull your fucking heads in you arrogant dumbshits unless you want to actually start playing the game at least somewhat competently.

ballistics on it are almost all shitty low arm mounts.

the hero is brilliant for faction play with 4erll's

unfortunately the uzi is too fat to be really useful as it lets opponents freely choose which sides to hit.

MONEY.

explain to them that Doing what you SUGGEST will make them more money, and kills.

>money meme
I told them to come back and they eventually did. It's not like I had time to type out a five paragraph essay while under fire about how many C-bills they'll make for not letting me die (and to be honest aside from any savior bonuses there probably isn't much financial incentive to bail my ass out)

I just realized what MWO is missing- repair costs.
They need to introduce hefty repair costs that penalize you for dying, especially in heavier mechs, so that shitters can't afford to play 100 tonners and are stuck in profitable 30-50 ton mechs.

>type
dude, voice comms or bust.

they don't just SAY 'come her money gibs"

you tell them correct information like
"that atlas is out of position, got his back to you he's alone, if you push that flank you can get a free easy kill" or other shit. just keep it simple.

>hey lets make faction play even deader than dead!
NO.

Loyalists have their repair costs subsidized by their clan/house during Faction Play.
Only an issue during FP or if you're a retarded Freelancer.

they'd have to make clamtech more expensive to repair etc, and that would never happen

Underrated image

GOOD FUCKING DO IT FILTHY FUCKING CLANNERS SHOULD KNOW THEIR FUCKING PLACE STUPID FUCKING VATBORN INBRED FUCKBABIES
AUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

dicks

you're talking about a faction played by tryhard that actually suck at the game, like those fucking MS tards.

>hey we're the clams we're so honorabu and muh zellbringen, now watch us ALL play the exact same mechs forever and ever and do the exact same thing as a gunline ignoring everything clams are supposed to be about with our mass laser vomit plinking bullshit. or our mass linebacker mpl swarm. and then we'll still lose to a hodgepodge of IS anyway. then we will REEE at how unfair that clams don't auto win everything ever!

CHARITY MECHS AGAI NWHEN
I WANT ANOTHER SARAH JENNER
MAKE IT A RICKY RIFLEMAN OR A VICTORIA VICTOR

Yeah, I sort of gave up my dreams of stripping down an Uziel, armoring it up and running just PPCs like in games of old. Not that it's much of an issue, though. Maybe it's a newb thing, but so far I like pulse lasers and lockon LRMs the best in this game. Standard lasers feel like they're all over the damn place, and projectiles are too slow. Makes me miss the PPC in older games, where it was a big, hot and heavy laser that took a while to reset but god damn, if you could land the shots you could chew through damn near anything.

Anyone have the image of the suicide Ravens running to red square with orange structure and no armor for cash? I think it had an Atlas and a grinding stone

Repair costs have existed before and ruined the game

Works for WoT

except comined with the great eranings nerf, the repair and such costs meant that even players making 5+ kills, 1500+ dmg a match would end up making a grand total of... maybe 10 K cbills.

lol so realistic?
Ammo should have a restock cost too (that way people will only play laservomit)

yeah pulses are where it's at, way easier to aim with much quicker damage application (so you kill that guy before he gets his last word in with an AC/20 that tears off your ST and leaves you crippled)
If you want lock missiles you can run Streak SRMs or ATMs if you do clams. Keep in mind Streaks aren't really as... good? as regular SRMs but they're fire and mostly forget so they're pretty good.

PGi does not do art of "alternative variants."

They always, ALWAYS do the concept art of the primary 1st edition mech of a chassis.

the point being it was punishingly unfun with even great matches earning you fuckall.

It's a shitposting nigger. Don't even bother responding to stupidity like that.

Everyone knows MWO had the retardation that was resupply and rearm when it first launched, and that was promptly abandoned.

nigger! Nigger! Anyone I don't like is a nigger!

It's possible that I'm retarded, I am American after all, but I just noticed that these are giant shield arms snug up against those torsos there.
What do you think Gerg?
