i think valve stopped using +25/-25 MMR as the ONLY measure of your skill in ranked games

i'm playing on my smurf and winning 90% of my games with ridiculously high stats, and i got promoted from legend 0 to legend 1 with 3400 MMR and from legend 1 to 2 with 3540 MMR, but according to those stats you need 3500 MMR to get legend 1 and 3640 to get legend 2, so they're probably using some sort of "smurf detection" and making them rank up faster
