mate you're gonna have a REALLY bad time with this game if you approach it with the same "just have a go at it" mentality of diablo 3

for starters, duelist is the base class that you pick at character creation, and slayer is one of its three possible upgrades (called ascendancy classes, the other two for the duelist are champion and gladiator) that you unlock pretty early into the game.

the best advice for a new player is to pick a beginner build guide on the forums and stick to it until you reach endgame. if you dont want to do that then you will have to learn stuff the hard way, and that means reading up a LOT of shit on the wiki and spending your time asking stupid questions in places like this. and you'll probably still fuck up your first few builds to the point where they get stuck at some act boss and dont even reach endgame.

IIRC there is a budget TS build that should work with Pathfinder (it was a Raider originally). Think it's called Windripper TS.

SRS will be a safe option if the above build is not actually a budget league starter. I do not know anything about barrage so I can't help you there.
