Because if you haven't or cannot then it turns into an RNG hell. So if you're short on hearts, gears, pages, etc. you can basically get fucked and should feel bad for not starting the game earlier, or for not having farmed past events.

The good news is that farming 50AP is a relatively modest upgrade over 40AP, and even then only if you have at least Plus 12 socks and 50 golden apples. So if you don't have the Servants prepped to beat it, you probably don't have one of those two things so you're not missing much.

Well, you have a bit of a better chance at it than I do I imagine. I am only spending 210 quartz and whatever tickets I have at the time.

I expect something like 700 quartz to be required for a decent chance, but I'm not ready to blow that much.
