As someone who has been around this place WAY longer than is safe for even the most unhealthy mind, you're expectations were not completely unfounded. Veeky Forums was just like that ~a year ago when it was first opened but now we're in that intermediate stage between actual discussion and an endless stream of shit posting, trolling and memes and from hereon it can only degenerate further
