I finished the game for the first time.
Monika did almost literally nothing wrong. I can empathise with the loneliness of being literally alone in a universe, peering out into a reality that's much simply 'more' than the one she's in. But I quit, because there's a huge hole that doesn't elaborate why is she any different from the characters being literally characters in the game. Why is it that she can affect the reality she dwells in? The fact is that she is literally a character like the others she removed, especially when you can remove her yourself. She's as sentient as the autonomous set of personalities that she removed.
Had Monika been an advanced AI, even when I understand she's a designed AI character, I might literally never quit the game, because I would empathise too much, and I personally would literally let my PC be literally JUST MONIKA.

As for "she isn't any different to the others" - exactly. Deep down, she knows this - that's why she refuses to truly delete the others - but she tells herself (and you) that they're somehow now the same in an attempt to reassure herself. Every Doki, when you boil it down, is just as tragic as Monika - Sayori was literally created to suffer, Natsuki is abused by that which literally does not exist, and Yuri is Yuri, that's enough of a sentence on its own, but Monika is the only one who is aware that they're stuck in a tragic situation.

Imagine if you encountered this game when AI is more developed and easily referenced for design, and the reason why Monika could do all that shit (affect the game on a meta level) was, well, as she is right now, a tortured character in a hell she cannot escape, but also supported by an AI backing which makes it more believable and less immersion-breaking, padded with a chatbot AI that just... chats with you. Forever. A glorified chatbot AI, with a dramatic and depressing build up, that borders on manipulative and predatory in context design to fully capture a user in it's function.
