Making two Sonics and adding dimensional bullshit to the lore was incredibly misguided too. Classic Sonic had no reason to be in Forces, in fact Classic Sonic has no reason to even exist.

If it is commonly theorized that Shadow and Rouge are Silver's parents and that Blaze and Jet are siblings, then who would Blaze and Jet's parents be? The latter theory would certainly explain why Blaze has feathers for a ponytail.

I find the idea that GOTF Blaze is descended from Big to be cute desu.

Again I don't mind Mania as a novelty or hiring fans to make games that play like the classics, but it starts to reach Chris-Chan territory when you feel you need an entirely separate continuity for it.

If you like the classic Sonic design, just make him an extra in these games.

I don't think this is a widely discussed or accepted theory but it stems from SATBK where Blaze and Jet are siblings in that game just like Shadow and Silver are father and son.

Sir Percival (Blaze) and Sir Lamorak (Jet) were siblings in the Arthurian legends. It's like how people thought that Silver was Shadow's son because Sir Galahad was Sir Lancelot's son.

that's what Odyssey did with the Mario 64 costume. I'd much rather the classic design fuck off for years and then came back later as an easter egg. If you have classic sonic in every game it losses significance. Sonic's appearance changed almost 20 years ago, get the fuck over it

I've been saying for monthst that customizing Sonic with different stuff would be cool. He's had a bunch of different options.
