Okay, so why do we need Asska again? Now when we have this ice bitch that overshadows him in literally fucking everything?
Noah Taylor
I blame that user. This is all his fault.
Juan Anderson
Why was Silver 3-1 so infinitely much better than entirety of Gold division? I struggled thought last Silver brackets in solo but absolutely stomped gold. Placement matches too inaccurate?
Jonathan Thomas
When should I start playing ranked? I am level 50 and level 6-10 with every champion. I think I have a decent grasp of what is happening inside of a match even though I need to up my positioning game (don't we all?) I mainly play Jade but do well at Ashka, Bakko and Croak.
Oliver Phillips
for 2v2 is it better to go full damage or healing on Oldur's rites?
Kayden White
don't play healers in this game
Colton Kelly
>Oldur >Healer
Camden Fisher
You could've easily just started playing ranked when you're lvl 5 and just learn while trying to rank up. That's how I did and now I'm lvl 40 diamond.
I don't understand why people put so much time into casual it feels like such a waste... Okay I can understand that you want to learn the basics of the game but that shit can be done in a day. Such wasted grind...
Aaron Powell
>I don't understand why people put so much time into casual I'm saying this from personal experience, but I think it also affects a good chunk of people playing competitive games in general. I could be wrong, but here goes:
Most people have ladder anxiety because it's the general human fear of failure. The best way to overcome this is to accept that you will be shit in the beginning. With time if you spend thinking of what you did wrong and how you can improve, it will happen naturally/automatically and you'll start winning more games, which will push you up in rank. League Rank is there just to give a general and loose feedback on how much you have learned about the game both in theory and mechanically. It doesn't reflect on you personally, it's just a game. So ignore rank and focus on improving.
It's kinda stupid in a sense, the point of the laddering system is to match you against other players on your skill level so you have a more enjoyable experience. Rather it induces the opposite psychological effect. The whole "rank bragging rights" mentality is pretty retarded and it causes more harm than good to a community in the long run.
In short, I don't know why I wrote an essay on this, I guess in hopes the advice might help someone as it helped me.

is pearl any good?
Jaxson Gray
>only champions i like are from the support group
why are they visually the best fuck this game i don't want to play support i'm so bad at them
Jayden Watson
Counter-intuitively, the way to git gud at support is to play them like ranged characters.
Caleb Taylor
Champions like Oldur, Pestilus and Sirius can deal some really good damage, check them out. You won't have the same damage output like Ashka or Jade, but you can still chunk a good portion of the enemy's hp.
Hudson Watson
>Arakune banned by PRL We might finally be rid of this cancerous manchild.
Juan Reyes
funny, the champions i like are Lucie, Poloma and Pearl
Jayden Morales
She's good, especially at keeping people off of her. More importantly everyone is good in their own way.
Juan Stewart
>can't even spell the abbreviation correctly just shut the fuck up you dumb fuck, nobody cares
Isaac Davis
She needs you
Mason Foster
This pretty much explained how I've been playing my games for years now. I just accept I'm shit and try to learn the fundamentals in casual and then just jump into ranked with always having the mindset of improving.
It was pretty autistic when I started making an excel with all my match history and trying to add stuff on which I could improve . I still have issues with taking my games too seriously when I play my games competitively but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing I just need to know when to turn it off (playing with friends for example).
Also great essay you wrote there.
Oliver Rodriguez
>Go immediately into ranked >Be awful and get placed in bronze or silver >Gradually improve but remain in shit tier leagues >Make new account and play 6 placement matches again >Get placed in gold or plat really nice system
Logan Nelson
Another thing I wanted to add is that, you have to set yourself a goal. It's interesting that everybody has their own motive to play. For example, I would be content with getting to Plat/Diamond and staying there. Due to my free time limitations I don't have time to play a lot to get above those ranks, which require more dedication and practice.
Another thing like you mentioned, is the people you play with. Again, find the people you enjoy spending time with, set your goals/motives. Play with people that tend to not mind mistakes and understand that improving takes time. There is nothing worse than playing with tryhards and tourneyfags.
Luis Collins
Maybe because the skill level between the bottom 3-4 divisions isn't really that much
Eli Diaz
what if I'm ok with just playing casual
Gavin Gonzalez
>Gradually improve but remain in shit tier leagues Then you're not improving to get out of those shit tier leagues. There was this guy that streamed BR a couple months back, where the duo'd with two account at the same time. Went AFK with one champ and played with Shifu 1v2. Went from Bronze to Champion.
Jace Phillips
oath i learnt the game and got silver got another account and got placed d5, now champ5 and climbing
nice game battlebabs
Zachary Gutierrez
Then play casuals. Like I said a few posts back, the whole point of these systems is just so you can find more enjoyable matches. However, don't quote me on this, but I think that casuals have a shitty hidden rating system and you can get matched against far better players because of it. If it's really true, that would be the only reason to play Ranked.
Colton Reyes
Placement matches are the main culprit here. Get lucky and you will be plat after 6 games, get unlucky and you will be silver and will have to play at least 30 more games than the lucky guy. Placements should never put you in plat, at most around low gold. In fact, why have placements at all? WoW arenas dont have placements, you have to play from 0 rating to around 1200 before you face any competition because until then losing doesnt affect your rating so there is 0 anxiety, you can play as much as you want without feeling bad and during that time you will also get more comfortable with the ranked environment which will help you overcome anxiety once rating is on the line at 1500+. Fuck placements, fuck leagues, fuck divisions, only MMR matters.
Carson Wilson
I do get matched against far better players occassionally but I don't mind losing to them
Daniel Cooper
Well said, they need to scrap the current system.
Matthew Russell
...
Lucas Young
They are. New ranked system coming in 2018.
Juan Ward
Is this across all leagues? Where's this from?
Jackson Kelly
I hope they get it right. So far it seems that 2018 will be the year that will either make or break the game, and I'm cautiously optimistic. If they fix the game problems, make QOL improvement and kickstart the lore, they have potential to grow a lot.
Ryan Cook
is poloma a character for noobs?
Zachary Ross
No.
Kevin Flores
I'm not getting my hopes up. Pretty sure they'll just turn into making waifu after waifu and shit out skin like a vending machine.
The ranked system is also insanely unfair. If someone reaches Champion / Grand Champion, the next Season he'll be automatically placed higher than your average player in his Placements (to avoid stomp after stomp), but if that guy is rusty as fuck, he'll fuck up the rating he's put into.
Right now there's also no point playing Team League, since people are abusing a disconnect trick.
Try play her. She's hard to master, but not that hard to play.
Kayden Peterson
>noob Polomas on my team I wouldn't wish this torture on my greatest enemy
Blake Miller
How do i into melee?
Ryder Nelson
>Polomas that randomly Other Sides me when I'm about to do something MAKE IT STOP!
Simple. >Unga Bunga in 2s >Peel or disrupt in 3s
Grayson Foster
>Pretty sure they'll just turn into making waifu after waifu and shit out skin like a vending machine. There's only one way to find out. We'll see if they'll deliver on all the things they promised until mid 2018, because in their "New Era" blog post, it looks like they'll fix most of the problems.
Anthony Young
>Sirius >54% win rate I don't quite understand this
Brayden Gray
It's taken from a lot of games, both high tier and shit tier. Low tier a lot of people get absolutely destroyed by the legendary Space in M1 into Counter Sirius.
Robert Ward
I think I'm responsible for dropping ruh kaan's wr by at least 2%

So basically there's a small chance that you get him for free, otherwise you have to pay inane amounts of battle coins
