For maximum nuke with ships like Ayanami/Yuudachi use the quad launcher.

Quad better on manual, quint more reliable on auto.

Use the wiki. You need to fight a certain number of trash in each map and a puzzle will appear at which point you can withdraw and move on to the next. Since it's only world 2 and 3 you can just Fletcher meme it and spend very minimal fuel for it.

AL is still in its infancy, especially in Japan. The story still hasn't developed much either. Once the big bad abyssals actually show up then there might be a chance but for now just expect collabs and mini-events.

It's comparing apples and oranges really. For KanColle it's 100% nothing more than shitty collab CG that nobody even wants and that's about it ingame. You'll maybe get a small item or something if you shop at Lawson but that's it.

For AL, so far at least, we've gotten an entire set of furniture and a costume for nico combined with a mini-event and we've gotten a costume for Unicorn with a small-event. CN also had Bilibili stuff. All of these items are permanent too and actually look pretty decent. That's not to say things wont change but at least things are more involved with better rewards as far as AL goes.
