I still don't understand how good the first movie was, and how shit the others were.

I have two questions about Stellaris:
1) Why can't my Machine Empire research the higher levels of ship AI?

2) Is the A-242 Battleship or the "Ship of the Line' Cruiser the best option for mass-production?

Is there a better feeling?

Currently, the N1X2 Cruiser is the best "meta" in the game, where "X" is an assortment of missiles.

Neutron torpedo, 1 bomber, X missiles, 2 point defense. I usually use a combination of Marauder and Whirlwind Missiles with both PD and Flak. This is useful because it really allows you to focus on the Missile tree instead of having to branch out all over the place.

Then the second one arrived, and I was confused as why Grant wasn't in it, and then there were new characters and I never figured out if I was supposed to know them or not since they're never introduced properly.
Then the third one arrived and it's Grant again but it's a "run for your life" kind of movie.

i actually thought 3 was alright, it was definitely more like the first than any of the others

I remember I hated the second one because not only I had no idea who any of the character was (except Goldblum), but also because the screams were horrifying. And that scene where the little girl kick a raptor.
The third and fourth never let a real impression on me, I remember them being the same thing, running away from raptors.

A 1-0 win will put us into playoffs vs. /ksg/ which will take place in a couple of hours.
