Actually considering moving to SSF or quitting the league purely to avoid parties with friends and guildies. I like playing games in groups but in PoE it's just absolute shit.
Significantly worse game performance (to the point of unfun) in exchange for worse overall currency gains, barely similar exprate and frequent fuckups from someone, like cartos or whatever. Utter visual cancer most of the time. And the constant scramble to keep everyone together.
Too autistic to say I just want to solo.

playing solo is fun as fuck, at lower levels you dont need to buy all those optimised leveling uniques so you wont feel like shit because you are not leveling with the 2ex lycosidae or some shit
and on higher level you will just grind like the game was intended to be played, instead trying to snipe good items on the tradesites all day

Everyone is struggling with progression and sustaining. I didn't even use harbinger items last league and quickly got to around 10 tier maps and after a while quickly sustained red maps

Well, they added 30 new maps. You can't expect the same returns with 50/150 atlas completion as with 50/120, that much should be obvious

Totem is a boss slayer (Lab, Atziri and Shaper), not a map slayer. Should've went for Sunder or Cyclone for maximum comfy, fast and well rounded build.

kinetic blast already kills everything in a second. you only need more damage for rares and bosses, that's where 6l barrage with point blank comes in

So it's Kinetic blast for clearing and Barrage for bosses, alright I might give it a shot.

I'm using a spark build atm, clearing t7 maps real easy but having problems with bosses. So i was thinking of using the currency i've been earning to do a more expensive, more powerful build. Should i go wander, or is there another build with more bang for your buck?

How did you get the skilltree like that though? Do you refund the four dexterity and 1 int node between ranger and scion after cruel lab?

Newb here. How do I get higher level maps? I've ran up to tier 7 so far but it seems like I only ever get tier 2 or 3 maps to drop. Am I fucking something up?

I get you're happy about your currency but there's no real choice between 5 and 6l
I'd get one char really high up and make some serious cash, and then once everything is cheap start a new one and go super fast

at least that's what I usually do and it's quite fun because I don't need to dump as much cash in the new char in order to start having fun early

just buy maps to get your completion up, it will be easier to sustain later

Got to mapping today. Is it just me or is the late/end game a lot more difficult now than during harbinger league? I'm struggling to cap my resistances, I even have to deny myself 200-300 MoM hp due to reserved mana for that extra resistance aura.

i would expect vault to be even higher than that
they were 4c last i checked at the end of last league

you can buy white maps for like 1 or 2 alch each, yellows for a fusing, maybe a chaos for higher ones, and reds for a few chaos each
and these prices will drop massively once more people get to doing higher maps

there is now a proper difficulty spike entering maps
