Anyone got tips for using the heavy splatling in different modes?

>Play turf war
>Just try to perch up high near center and deny other team access

>Rainmaker
>Usually staying in shooting distance of rainmaker. Mostly breaks shields and inks long paths for when we push

>Splat Zone
>Pretty much same as turf war. Find a few good spots to rotate in between and focus on denying access to zones

>Tower Control
>Shoot at guy on tower until he maybe hopefully dies
>Also wait for someone to push the tower and it doesn't happen so go try to push the tower myself and immediately die

In Clam Blitz I guess it's gonna be goalkeeper time.

not all weapons are for all modes, high ambush maps/tight spaces either require you to camp like a charger or you die a lot.

Which maps would you consider the high ambush maps? With splatling I usually do best in walleye warehouse so I see your point.

Does anyone actually use Ink Recovery over ISM and ISS? I have so many chunks and tickets but absolutely no desire to use them.

Ink recovery's effect is so fucking miniscule it barely makes a difference.

it used to be pretty balanced but it just feels heavily tipped to shooter weapons (specifically aerospray farmers) compared to splatoon 1. i dont know whether its just map design, where a lot of the new maps are just designed to be circled around by aerosprayers or what

not the problem, theres no real objectives to turf war in my opinion, map control doesnt feel as fun to me and it just doesnt seem as important to win (depending on the stage)
