The Kremlin, Moscow, USSR
Reagan woke up with a start. He sat up sharply, blinked the grit out of his eyes and shook his head to clear out the sleep-clouds.
"What the fuck?" he whispered to himself. The lumpy blankets beside him shifted, and as he watched, Gorbachev's form slowly extricated itself from the bamboo-patterned comforter and sat up against the headboard.
"Zat vas a night, vas it not, Amerikanets?" Gorbachev murmured. His fingertips crept admiringly along Reagan's sculpted chest. Reagan flinched away, blushing.
"This -- this was a mistake. I'm married, I have a wife at home, I -- my country. I have to go."
Gorbachev's puffy eyes crinkled at him in a not-quite-smile. "But comrade, last night we are agreeing, it vill mean death for us all if we do not turn zis Cold War ... hot."
"That metaphor doesn't even work," said Reagan, in the brief few seconds while he could still think properly. Under the covers, Gorbachev was sliding his hand along his upper thigh. Reagan shivered. Was this really going to happen again? Yes, it was. He sighed in resignation. Abruptly Gorbachev pushed him back to the bed and straddled him. Reagan's breath caught in his throat as he wriggled beneath Gorbachev's rhythmic movements.
